Dewata Studio in Bali specializes in creating premium, luxury, and collectible Kuripe and Tepi.
We originally focused on producing classic wooden Kuripe and Tepi models for the wholesale market.
Over time, we began experimenting with different materials and combinations. This led to the creation of our premium, luxury, and collectible models.
Today, we create different variations of Kuripe and Tepi, including classic models and Double Kuripe, which have already been shipped to customers in more than 20 countries around the world. We also create classic and Double Tepi.
Materials
In our work, we use High Purity Silver 99%, Sterling Silver, 18K Gold, selected natural exclusive wood, and precious and semi-precious gemstones.
We select our exclusive wood based on its texture and color. Before processing, each piece of wood is checked to ensure that it has the appropriate moisture content.
When selecting gemstones, we personally choose them for each individual piece, paying attention to their characteristics and how they complement the other materials.
Attention to Detail
We pay particular attention to the quality of our products and the techniques used in their creation.
For us, the quality of the fittings, the precision of joining different materials, the accuracy of the openings, the quality of the polishing, and the finishing of every detail are all important.
Our Crafting Techniques
When creating our products, we use various techniques, including the traditional Balinese Tatahan technique, casting, cutting, as well as our own Dewata Studio Crafting Technology.
Some of these techniques are used only for specific models.
